About Angie's Sunrise Garden Care Home

Angie’s Sunrise Garden Care Home is owned and operated by the Wavers Faith and Friendship Foundation, a non profit foundation whose mission it is to provide for the spiritual and corporal needs of diverse populations. These populations include the elderly, special needs adults, the marginalized and homeless.

ADLs include assistance with toileting, dressing, grooming and hygiene as needed. Meals are enjoyed together at regular times in the dining area while Birthdays and holidays are always festive occasions with residents choosing their favorite foods, music and decor. Available books, puzzles, board games, and art supplies are always available for those wishing to fill their leisure times. Gardening and nature walks can be provided for those who enjoy the outdoors.

How We Began

Angie’s care home grew out of an increasing need, an idea and the dream of a niece who was losing the closeness she once shared with her beloved aunt Angie. Travel to and from their homes had become increasingly difficult, and so the creation of a nearby elder care home seemed the ideal solution.. Sadly, Angie passed before the project was completed, but similar needs of other families remain and will also be met with the same care and loving attention. The home has become a tribute to the memory of Angie whose life was a true reflection of her joyful spirit. This will remain a place designed to provide a variety of opportunities for others to enjoy life while remaining close to friends, family and the greater community.

About Our Home

Angie’s is a five bedroom home modeled in the country cottage style designed to provide a family friendly environment that is nurturing, loving and supportive of the needs of its members. Each member has a private room which is lovingly decorated, including a TV, WiFi connection and adjustable bed. 

The Home is located at 3207 Kaiser Way Carmichael, California – a suburb in the Greater Sacramento area. It is nestled on a cul de sac road which provides a safe and serene environment for its family members.
